PROFILE

PETER MORIN enjoyed the best season in his short F1H2O career in 2023 when he finished third in the Drivers’ Championship behind Jonas Andersson and Erik Stark. Despite a non-finish in Zhengzhou, Morin finished fourth in Indonesia, France and Sharjah and runner-up in Italy.
Before that, in 2021, he picked up two podiums and finished fourth overall. The Frenchman made his F1H2O debut in 2017, picking up the Rookie of the Year award after finishing 12th in the championship standings with 10 points and a best finish of sixth.
Now the lead driver in the China CTIC Team, Morin finished the 2022 season in ninth place in the Drivers’ Championship. The last of his four podium finishes to date came in Olbia in 2023.
A seven-time winner of the World Endurance Championship in Class 3, he is also a multiple French Champion in S3000, winning the title six times and claiming the runners-up spot on five occasions.
He won the Rouen 24hr for the first time in 2006, winning again from 2013 to 2017 with Philippe Chiappe.
