PROFILE

KALLE VIIPPO joined Team Sweden for the first time in San Nazzaro in 2021 and is now an integral member of the team. Born at Forssa in Finland, Viippo is now in his third year of F1H2O racing.

The Finn raced in the UIM F2 World Championship for two seasons (2018 and 2019) and finished eighth overall in 2019. His best result was fourth in Abu Dhabi in 2019 and he also finished in the points in eighth in Ribadouro.

Viippo started out in water sports track rowing for the Salo Racing Rowers from the age of seven and then graduated to the Finnish national SJ-15 class, before moving into F4 in 2012. He went on to achieve two bronze medals in the World Championships, several Finnish championships and other awards in the SM, PC, EC and WC series’.
