DEGUISNE AND BOURGEOT REMAIN AS LEAD DRIVERS UNDER REFRESHED MAVERICK RACING PROGRAM
F1H2O

Monday, February 2: Maverick Racing is the second team to confirm its driver line-up for this year’s F1H2O season. The team will retain both starting drivers, Cédric Deguisne and Alexandre Bourgeot, for the forthcoming season, alongside Beranger Robart as the reserve driver.

The French starting duo competed in every Grand Prix of the 2025 season, with the pair recording their best finishes of the season in the closing Grand Prix of Sharjah, where Deguisne finished eight and Bourgeot ninth

Significant changes are afoot for Deguisne, who this year will compete in a brand new hull and using a V8 4-stroke 360 APX Mercury, becoming the second driver in the championship to convert from a 2-stroke to 4-stroke engine after Marit Stromoy.

Jean Vital Deguisne, Maverick Racing’s Team Manager, announced the driver confirmation and engine change, adding: “We have all the infrastructure to be able to carry out piloting, balance and propeller tests over the next 3 months. We will work hard to be ready".
